Content Description

This collection is an account told by an unidentified storyteller of his father’s experiences homesteading land that had belonged to the Lake Traverse Indian Reservation, home of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate. The donor believed this story was most likely written by Wendell Dunn Sr. because he found it in the papers of Thomas Dunn (Conductor, organist, educator, church musician). Typewritten text.
