Content Description
These papers contain information about the Beede family, Vermillion, South Dakota.
The Correspondence (Box 1) series contains letters in one file folder. Some relatives share genealogical information with Rosa, Will, and Grace Beede. This series has been arranged in chronological order (span dates 1899-1950).
The Ephemera (Box 1) series contains epaulet and military medals from Nelson Miner’s military uniform and name tags from William Beede.
The Manuscripts (Box 1) collection contains genealogical information on the Miner family and handmade plot maps of Vermillion.
The Military Documents (Box 1) series contains the discharge papers of Private Albert Gibson.
The Photographs (Box 1-4) series include carte de visite photographs and cabinet cards of men from Company A and other cavalries and companies, early Vermillion reproduction prints and originals, and Beede family photographs.
The Printed Materials (Box 1) series contains newspaper articles on the first school house and family members. The series also contains programs for meetings.
The Subject Files (Box 1) series contains a teacher’s report from 1890-1891.
The Typescript (Box 1) series contains a Miner family history and genealogical information.
